COVID-19 UPDATE

First Tee of WNY Families, Coaches and Volunteers,

Like many of you, we have been monitoring and closely following the COVID-19 pandemic and public health recommendations on both a local and national level. We are saddened to announce we will be suspending all First Tee of Western NY Programming effective immediately.

Our team has decided to cancel all remaining classes for our Second Winter Session and our Spring Session – this also includes any 1-on-1 Coaching. It should be noted the Town of Tonawanda has also officially closed the Paddock Golf Dome until further notice.

The safety of our kids, families, volunteers, and supporters are our priority and we feel these steps are necessary moving forward. All of our staff is working from home and all meetings will be conducted remotely.

As of today, the Summer Session program is still scheduled to begin the week of June 29th. However, this may change if situations do not drastically improve.

Online Registration will continue as planned for Summer Sessions. Pre-Registration (existing/past participants) for programs will be open online on March 28th and Standard Registration (new participants) will open on April 4th.

Dates will continue to be posted for registration at: https://www.firstteewesternny.org/programs/on-golf-courses/

We will continue to monitor this situation very closely and communicate with you regularly.

Thank you for your understanding in advance and for being a part of our family here at First Tee of Western NY. On behalf of our entire staff and Board of Directors, we are very grateful to all of you for your continued support.

Nine Core Values

Why is golf different from other sports?

Players learn values like honesty and responsibility by calling penalties on themselves and reporting their own score. By participating in First Tee, youth are introduced to Nine Core Values which are incorporated throughout the program.
